DESCRIPTION:\nLiberal Arts undergraduate student are invited to join the
	 Jana Marie Foundation as they lead a training for Adult Mental Health F
	irst Aid.\n\nCompletion of this program will result in an Adult Mental H
	ealth First Aid Certificate\, which can be marketed to employers and gra
	duate schools on your résumé.\n\nAPPLY\n\nApplications due Friday\, Marc
	h 6\, 2026 at 5:00 pm. \n\nOnly complete applications will be reviewed. 
	Space is limited to thirty individuals. You will be notified of acceptan
	ce on Monday\, March 16\, 2026.\n\nProgram Description: \n\nAnyone\, any
	where can be the one to make a difference in the life of someone with a 
	mental health or substance use challenge—if they know what to do and wha
	t to say. Mental Health First Aid can give you the necessary tools to ha
	ve a courageous conversation.\n\nMental Health First Aid was created in 
	Australia in 2001 by Betty Kitchener\, a nurse specializing in health ed
	ucation\, and Tony Jorm\, a respected mental health literacy professor. 
	The National Council for Behavioral Health operates Mental Health First 
	Aid USA in partnership with the Missouri Department of Mental Health.\n\
	nThe Adult Mental Health First Aid course is appropriate for anyone 18 y
	ears and older who wants to learn how to help a person who may be experi
	encing a mental-health-related crisis or challenge. Topics covered inclu
	de (but are not limited to) anxiety\, depression\, psychosis\, and addic
	tion. Learn more about available resources and how to help someone in ne
