Established in 2008, the annual Stand Up Awards recognize Penn State undergraduate students for their demonstrating ethical leadership by “standing up” for a cause, idea, or belief.

“Every day, students across Penn State’s campuses distinguish themselves as ethical leaders through their engagement in university life and the broader community,” said Ben Jones, assistant director of the Rock Ethics Institute (REI). “The Stand Up Awards recognize and celebrate these student leaders.”

The 2022 Stand Up Award winners are Celeste Good, Jake Snyder, and Nora Van Horn.
