In this workshop, Dr. Jan Yoder, a psychologist who has specialized in gender research, draws from her long editorial experience at two top-ranked journals to discussion what goes on behind the scenes in editorial offices of academic journals. Dr. Yoder served as Editor of Psychology of Women Quarterly (2010-2015), and Sex Roles: A Journal of Research (2016-2020).
