Peter Pomerantsev, a senior Fellow at the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University, takes us to the front lines of the disinformation age, where he meets Twitter revolutionaries and pop-up populists, “behavioral change” salesmen, Jihadi fanboys, identitarians, truth cops, and many others. In this lecture, he will diagnose the problem of misinformation online and offer ideas from those who are working to reimagine an Internet that’s more democratic and fosters dialogue instead of division.
