Join us for the Liberal Arts Harrisburg Career Exploration Day on Wednesday, October 29, 2025!

Undergraduate and graduate students in the College of the Liberal Arts must apply to be considered for this program.

Applications open on Friday, August 29 and are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 3.

What to expect?

• Bus will depart from Rec Hall (Burrowes Rd, University Park, PA 16802) at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29.
• The day will include a variety of activities and sessions, such as:
  • Legislative Panel
  • Young Professionals in Government and Public Policy Careers Panel
  • Lunch and Learn session focused on internships
  • Career exploration and networking sessions
  • Tour of the State Capitol Building
• Locations include the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building.
• Bus will depart from Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. (expected arrival in State College, 7:30 p.m.).
